Horwitz is thrilled to announce the appointment of Joel Ellingson as our new Service General Manager. With a wealth of experience in global leadership, business operations, and customer-focused initiatives, Ellingson brings a dynamic skill set and a proven track record of success to his new role.
His professional background includes roles in strategic program management, product life-cycle management, and customer experience enhancement for firms including Honeywell and Nexstar. Notably, Ellingson has a history of building high-performing teams focused on delivering exceptional service to customers. “I believe in painting a clear picture of what the Service business should aspire to be, rallying the team around that objective, and then implementing KPIs, processes, and policies to ensure we hit our targets,” said Ellingson, describing his leadership philosophy.
Ellingson earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is also Six Sigma Green Belt Certified demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and creating efficient and sustainable processes. Curious, focused, and reflective, Ellingson brings a unique blend of qualities that are well aligned with Horwitz’s values and objectives.
